Elizabeth Jane McGannon, known to her family and
friends as Libby, is the postmaster of a small town in
the Black Hills, called Sentinel Press. When her
biological clock starts ticking, Libby decides it is
time she had a baby. After looking into her options, she
decides to advertise on the Internet. She is willing to
trade a quarter share, of a working gold mine, in return
for sperm-resulting in pregnancy. The last thing Libby
expected was that a Hollywood star would be interested.
Meeting with Cooper, she planned to talk to him about
drafting a contract, she wants to give him at least a
week, so they could get to know each other. But lately,
all she can think about is Cooper. When Libby can't
concentrate on her job, she finds that Cooper needs to
return home. She never planned on getting emotionally
involved with the baby's father. Can Libby put her trust
in someone she barely knows?
Cooper Lindstrom didn't understand how he got to be in
the position he was in. It has only been eight weeks
since his mother collapsed in a Las Vegas casino, she
died the next day. And now, he was getting threatening
email, all because of his mother's online gambling
debts. He needed to find a way out of this mess she put
him in. Surfing the Internet, Cooper comes across an
item on ebay. The item said a sperm donor is needed, in
return the donor would receive a quarter share in a
working gold mine. Cooper thinks this just might work to
his advantage, he can hide away from his mother's psycho
bookie, while trying to figure out how to make some
money to pay off the debt. Meeting with Libby, Cooper is
convinced that there is a story here. What Cooper didn't
know, was how much he would like the sleepy little town.
And especially, that he would fall in love with the
postmaster. But will his betrayal end what could have
been?
