Alexis Beaumont has a career she's worked hard to achieve and a five-year plan to have the job the sexy tush in front of her now holds. Hiking in Sedona with her boss could be a lot worse if he weren't so good looking, funny, charming, and the list could go on and on. She's been able to resist Gabe's invitations for dinner because she has things she wants to achieve and a successful career is at the top of that list. Alexis isn't going to get distracted by his striking blue eyes. Their company has a policy about employees dating each other and, by God, she's keeping her eyes, and hands, to herself (no matter how challenging that is).

Gabriel Marx is a man who knows what he wants and he wants Alexis. He hasn't convinced her to date him yet but he knows she will. How can he be so confident? Six months ago he came across a portrait of himself in a Civil War uniform, no less, and Alexis was by his side. She doesn't realize it and he's not so sure what it all means but he's never questioned that fate wants them to be together. When his sister tells Gabe about the rumors that there are certain places in Sedona that have special powers, he decides to take Alexis on a little jaunt during their business trip to see if he can finally make her realize that they are meant to be together. But, the trip doesn't turn out as Gabe thinks it will and Alexis isn't instantly convinced of their future. Something she sees scares her deeply and she isn't sure if she wants this destiny.

DESTINY'S TOUCH leaves little to the imagination and readers who like HOT scenes will not be disappointed. Reading what Alexis sees brings the romance to this otherwise quick relationship and helped this reader be more comfortable with the very fast pace their relationship takes. An easy, quick read.
