Romantic Suspense

Dissatisfied with her marriage and career, Julia Sullivan has left her life in Chicago and is determined to make a new life for herself, starting with the renovation of an old beach house left to her by her deceased aunt. But her husband, Patrick, is not eager to give her up. Arriving on her doorstep, Patrick offers his services as a general contractor, anything that will allow him to be close to Julia.

But while Julia and Patrick attempt to renew their shaky relationship, sinister “accidents” keep occurring. First, a trash can fire is set perilously close to the house. Then, an interrupted burglary and a injured neighbor present additional complications. Could any of these events be related to the aunt’s fatal tumble down the stairs?

As Julia and Patrick muddle through their relationship woes, their lives are further complicated with smooth-talking salesmen and seductive women. Can Julia discover the secrets of her house? More importantly, can she once again trust her heart to Patrick?

HERE TO STAY was chalk full of adventure and suspense. The many characters and subplots made the story intriguing. Just when you thought the drama was over, another exciting and dangerous event occurs. The characters of this story were so well-written; each so distinctly different that you could picture them in vivid detail. An excellent read!
