Mystery
Nora Blackbird is having a meltdown, and it isn't due
to the Philadelphia heat wave. Her sister, Libby, has
been struck by a Rolls-Royce and is recuperating at the
Ritz. Lucky for her, Nora has agreed to take care of her
five children while she rests. In the midst of this,
Nora's younger sister Emma is on the brink of another
bender, thanks to a huge secret that will shock the
family if they find out. Fortunately for her family,
Nora has time on her hands since her husband to be has
requested some time off from their relationship. But
suddenly things in Nora's life take an even more drastic
turn when a Philly philanthropist, Hoyt Cavendish takes
a flying leap off of an office balcony, that just
happens to belong to Nora's best friend, Lexie. Now
Lexie is under suspicion for murder. Turns out, Hoyt was
financing his charitable donations by stealing from his
clients, so there is a long list of aristocrats with a
motive for murder. Who could have done it? Who was Hoyt
blackmailing? Or is there someone else behind the
scheme? And why have the girls' parents suddenly
reappeared? Whatever is going on, Nora is sure to take
the heat.
MURDER MELTS IN YOUR MOUTH is a fast paced suspense
novel. From page to page, you are never sure what is
going to happen. One thing is certain though, Nora and
her fiance, Michael, cannot keep their hands off each
other. Not even when they try. He is the proverbial "bad
guy" and she is the "good girl," but can they meet in
the middle where they will be the happiest? And how does
one daughter end up with all the good sense in a family?
Nora is able to single handedly handle all of her family
crisis in style, but not without frustration. This is a
nice story with many unexpected twists, steamy romance,
and a lot of humor involved.
