Dr. Carly Chambers was just completing another day at work when she was kidnapped by a duo of men who while tying her up stated they wished her no harm. Antonio Pantera is more than meets the eye. He is a were-cat and he is dying painfully after suffering a wound from a silver bullet. Not only will Carly have to remove the bullet under what she thinks of as barbaric conditions, she will also have to treat him for heavy metal poisoning. Then she will also have to come to terms with Tony's uncharacteristic healing abilities. When questioned by Carly, Tony tells her his secret, only to have Carly wondering if he is delusional. Tony and Carly have an instant chemistry, but Carly thinks he is clearly insane and Tony has bad history with humans. They may have time to investigate their attraction, but there is another group of shape shifters planning evil things with Tony and his friends as their target. And, in order to get Tony, they set their sites on Carly.

CHANGING TIMES by Marilu Mann is a sensual and excellent adventure of the paranormal. The story is the perfect length for an afternoon get away into the world of shape shifters.
