Contemporary Romance

Dr. Kate Holly, a clinical psychologist, makes her living helping others deal with their problems. But who can Kate turn to when she has her own? Her patients are draining the life from her, her relationship with her gorgeous and perfect husband is falling apart, and she is occupied with fending off the advances of an ex-boyfriend. To make matters worse, her mother and aunt have gifted her with an obscene statue. Now, Kate’s religious neighbors are on a rampage. But are they the ones sending Kate threatening messages? Or is someone else responsible for the damage to her property and scaring her silly? How on earth will Kate solve her own problems, when she is occupied with solving so many others’?

Absolutely hilarious! This is a fabulous novel that is both quirky, as well as thought-provoking. I loved that the author left the ending somewhat unfinished. I am hoping for a sequel! But even if there is none, the book mirrored life wonderfully. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, especially those of the supporting characters. They truly made the novel.
