This great anthology starts out with Hannah Howell's THE YEARNING in which the Lady Sophie Hay travels to Nochdaidh to try to break a 435-year-old curse between the Galt women and the MacCordy men. Sir Alpin MacCordy is the laird of Nochdaidh and has no hope of ever ridding himself of the curse that has him loosing parts of himself daily. Recently, though, it seems the beast in him is winning the war. When the lovely little Sophie walks into his world and turns it upside down with her hope and love, he knows he must send her away, no matter the cost.

Next is the story by Jackie Kessler called A HELL OF A TIME. Jesse Harris and the love of her life, Paul Hamilton go for a weekend retreat only to be thrown into another dilemma. Jesse is an ex-succubus turned human who dances for a living as an exotic dancer. Paul is a cop who has a really good heart and Jesse is trying her best to become more human. Paul knows about her past, but the last thing she wants ruining their romantic get-a-way is another demon that will remind him of that. So, when things get a little dicey for her, she pretends all is well. Paul is well aware that something is up; he just hopes Jesse will trust him enough to be open with him. Hopefully she will, as her life may well depend on it.

The third story in this anthology is CITY OF DEMONS by Richelle Mead. This is a story about the succubus, Georgina. As a practicing succubus, Georgina and Seth have a strange relationship. Georgina love's Seth, and due to his humanity, they are unable to consummate their relationship. She is sent to Los Angeles to act as a juror for a demonic council in a murder trial. She and Seth had planned a romantic weekend and instead end up in the City of Angels. Upon arrival, they soon find that serving jury duty isn't like it is in the real world. This trial includes bribery; as a matter of fact bribes are expected. It also comes with three suspects. Georgina has a bit of goodness left and she soon finds herself embroiled in a difficult position. She becomes the only hold out in a unanimous conviction, and the demons plan to use her weakness, Seth, against her.

The anthology ends with BITTEN by Lynsay Sands. In BITTEN, Keeran MacKay is sentenced to a life without the sun after being turned into a vampire. He then tries to survive a bleak life filled with loneliness until he rescues Emily from certain death. Emily comes into his life and immediately turns his world upside down. But she doesn't know his secret, and if she does find out, will she think he's a monster?

Combined together, these four authors have created a great anthology perfect for the weekend get-a way. They will definitely get you in the mood romantically!
