Are you looking for a quick but well written read? Ellora’s Cave has a tendency of grouping their books in either series or themes. The newest theme is “Oh Yum”. From what I can tell, this theme is aimed at May-December fantasies – older women and younger men. TEACHING MOLLY is about divorcee Molly. She had a selfish jerk of a husband and after being dumped for a bimbo half her age, she is licking her wounds and trying to piece together her tattered ego.

Nick is a thirty something architect and Molly has totally snagged his attention. In a fairly small community like San Antonio, he’s heard the gossip about Molly and the pity her friends espouse, but he is instantly attracted to her spark and aura of innocence.

Ms. Holt does a good job in a limited space to draw these characters and their story out. I tend to like my books longer and to get more meat into the story, and I think that TEACHING MOLLY could easily have been a full length novel or even longer, but that is just a preference on my part. If you are looking for light and quick and GOOD read, then this book is just the ticket. The writing is hot and the scenes are hotter.
