Romance Suspense
Although Sibylla was born into a privileged life, she
chooses to live on the streets of Stockholm. With no one
to depend on, she is able to find her bare necessities
on the streets the only way she knows how. Occasionally,
she allows herself to have the human contact she shies
away from when she goes into expensive hotels and
convinces single men patrons to buy her dinner and to
pay for her room for the night. Only then, can she feel
like she is back among the living. But then she picks
the wrong business man who ends up dead the next morning
and she is the prime suspect. Fleeing is the only thing
she knows how to do, but s the killer strikes again and
again, each time blaming her, Sibylla knows that her
story must be told. Only then, will she possibly be able
to go home again.
MISSING gives flashbacks onto Sibylla's childhood that
let you know about the life she is running from. Yes,
she was in the life of privilege, but there was also a
noose around her neck with severe consequences if she
ever dared to think or act on her own. Shunned by her
peers and seemingly unloved by her parents, Sibylla
turns to a young man in the neighborhood. She loves Mick
and will do anything for him. But he doesn't feel the
same about her and leaves her in a situation that is
unacceptable. Her mind falls apart. Floating between
reality and the next world of delirium, Sibylla runs
away to live on the streets. After hiding in all of her
safe places, she is caught unaware one day by a young
man who turns into her biggest ally. Patrik is an
intelligent fifteen year old who helps Sibylla gather
information on the murders and the possible reason
someone else may have wanted them dead, and used her as
a scapegoat. The road to find the real killer leads
Sibylla where she never expected to be and she will have
to pull out all of her hard learned resources to
survive. The end will leave you shocked.
MISSING is an attention capturing book that lets you
into the life of the homeless from the safety of your
own home. Unexpected twists occur on almost every page
and the end will leave you reeling!
