Meghan Foster lives a very ordinary, plain life with no frills; however, she fantasizes about a life that she would like to live and records this information in her diary.   As she checks into a resort for a little R&R she plans to take a lover and act on the various erotic themes she’s always dreamed about.  In her diary she refers to herself as “Elise,” and as that character, nothing is held back when she engages in sexual acts with the man of her dreams.  Her problem now is finding Mr. Right.  As she reveals her plans to her sister, she decides to assist Meghan in fulfilling her dreams by finding her the perfect mate.  Meghan is about to give up on finding the right man when Alex enters the picture and without giving it a second thought, she flirts with the stranger.

Alex Worth works as a special agent for the DEA, but using the name Nicholas Alexander, he has just checked into the Cayo Sueno Resort and is shocked to find suitcases already in the room.  Because the man that he was investigating had reserved the room, he thought that Meghan was a special gift for him.  As he goes through her things that he finds in the room, his interest is piqued when he finds her diary and begins reading the entries.  Wondering what type of person has landed in his room, he continues his search and finds himself interested in the woman with the wild fantasies and sexy lingerie.  His only thought is finding the person who wears the sexy items lying about the room; and who fits the sexy red sandals and has the seductive nature described in the book.  Although Alex has a job to do, he manages to take time out to engage in a little fantasy of his own.

Discovering that a mistake has been made when checking into the resort, Meghan moves her things to a new room as Alex watches.  While the situation is awkward, it allows her the opportunity to try some of the lines that she has written in her diary to capture the man of her dreams.  Alex isn’t sure that he can trust Meghan, but it doesn’t keep him from wanting to know her better.  As they spend the week together at the resort, Alex and Meghan get a chance to act out some of her fantasies despite the fact that Alex is suppose to be on an assignment.  Everything appears to working out the way Meghan wants until she realizes Alex’s true identity; and she decides to help him catch his man against his wishes.   The one thing that Meghan never considered was what would happen when the fantasy ends?   As she prepares to return to her normal life, Meghan’s heart can’t separate fantasy from reality as Alex gives up the name Nick to prepare for his next assignment without her.

Mia Zachary has written a book that is filled with lots of romance.  The fantasy that she has created is one that I’m sure most women would love to find themselves involved in, especially if the hero follows all the steps that have carefully been laid out for him. If Ms. Zachary’s first book is this hot, I can’t wait for her next novel.
