When
Princess Chantal Thibaudet's plane crashes, she turns to the man
who
helps her through the ordeal, Demetrius Mantheakis. Unknown to
Chantal,
her life has been threatened, and Demetrius, head of an
internationally-
known security company, has been hired by Sultan Malik, her
brother in
law, to keep her safe. The only way Demetrius can do that is to
take her
to his own private island, The Rock. There, Chantal is forced to
come to
terms with the needs and dreams that Demetrius has awakened in
her. When
Chantal becomes pregnant, things get even more complicated,
because life
as a royal, especially the mother of a four year old princess
who will
someday rule, is complicated, and doubly so for someone who has
always put
country and family first.
THE GREEK'S ROYAL MISTRESS proves again that Jane Porter is
superb at
writing the intense romance. THE GREEK'S ROYAL MISTRESS throbs
with
emotional and sexual intensity that's almost unbearable at
times. This
is a real page turner, not just because of the stalker element,
but
because the reader wants to know how Ms. Porter pulls it off at
the
end and gives Chantal her much-deserved happy ending. Hint: Ms.
Porter
doesn't disappoint! Also of note, Ms. Porter skillfully
brings
the duty-bound Princess Chantal's inner life vividly, almost
painfully, to
life as circumstances force Chantal to look at her life and make
a stand for love and independence. Book two of the Princess
Brides
trilogy is highly recommended! |
