Allie was intrigued with the case and took it on for a price - Robbie had to come in and straighten up her office.  Allie wanted to check out his father and find out what kind of dad would let their kid walk across town alone.

Well, Jake Larson was nothing like she expected; it didn’t help that when she first met him he was working out.  There is something about a man working out that is a real turn on!  Allie caught a look at Jake’s planner and found out he was headed to White Sands.

Following Jake was no easy task, especially when he didn’t want to be followed.  But Allie got him figured out, Jake hated to cause a scene and Allie loved it.  Jake met his match with Allie.  She was the total opposite, which must be why there was an attraction there from first contact.  Can Allie solve the case and get her man?

Allie was a character all to herself- she was bright, funny, caring, smart and inventive.  The ideas she came up with to follow Jake had me laughing out loud, and once again had my husband looking at me as if I was crazy.  Jake had no chance of escaping Allie, but I don’t think he wanted to anyway she had spirit.
