I love the name of this book, "The Snow Bride," it is so romantic! If you are looking for a great romantic story, then come and get acquainted with Jenna Campbell, a 31-year-old personal assistant who lives in the exciting city of Los Angeles. However, her life isn't so idyllic. She is single, attractive and has worked for her boss, Brad Fulton for six years. Of course, Brad is also single, rich and handsome. Jenna has fallen in love with him, but Brad is married to his work and doesn't have a clue she is even alive.

Let's add in Jenna's mother, Chloe, who Jenna loves, but who isn't so lucky when it comes to love. She has provided Jenna with numerous stepfathers, four to be exact. So Chloe is not the ideal role model for Jenna when it comes to affairs of the heart. Jenna realizes her life is in somewhat of a standstill. So she decides to go to Alaska to meet her Internet sweetheart, Dalton Gray, with whom she has been chatting with over the last four months.

Her trip to Alaska is not without complications. When she lands in Fairbanks, Dalton fails to meet her. Reid Jamison, her seatmate, who personally knows Dalton and despises him, kidnaps Jenna and takes her to his home in Snowbound. Nature plays its hand and Reid and Jenna are forced to stay together until a snowstorm subsides. When it does end, all sorts of complications arise, Jenna's mother decides to fly to Alaska, as does her old boss, Brad Fulton. Then Dalton Gray learns of Jenna's whereabouts and makes an appearance. This is the point at which the storyline becomes very interesting.

Ms. Macomber gives us a hero and heroine who at first, are at odds with each other. This creates some engaging romantic tension, which is essential for the development of their relationship. Add in some unusual, if not eccentric, secondary characters from the town of Snowbound and you will find this story enchanting and very entertaining. If you are looking for a fanciful but appealing novel for the upcoming holidays, then "The Snow Bride" is one I would recommend.
