Sarah McDowell
and Mary Sutton used to be best of friends, until one little
white lie and a tea set was involved.
Ten years ago, high school sweethearts Noelle McDowell
and Thom Sutton fell in love.
They kept their affair a secret because of their feuding
mothers; they had made plans to elope until Thom jilted Noelle.
This Christmas
Noelle comes home to Rose Oregon.
Whom does she see on the plane ride home, but her very
handsome and still single ex.
It is a surprise for both of them to see each other.
During the holidays, Mary and Sarah are surprised to find
out that they are going to be working together on the annual
Christmas basket charity.
As Christmas
gets closer, Thom and Noelle are spending more time with each
other than they thought possible.
They soon discover that they are still in love with each
other, and that nothing is going to tear them apart, not even
their feuding mothers. This
Christmas, can their mothers put aside their differences to give
their children as second chance at love and happiness?
A CHRISTMAS
BASKET is a very charming Christmas book that readers will
enjoy. Debbie
Macomber does a wonderful job of writing a witty and charming
book with warmth and love.
As a reader, I truly enjoyed this Christmas story.
The characters are delightful and funny with their
ongoing family feud.
