Jocelyn Mackenzie, ex-Secret Service, is hired to protect Dr. Donovan Knight, a prominent Chicago cardiac surgeon after he receives a series of threats.  Donovan's reluctant at first, but gives in to his medical partner's urging when he sees the tough but lovely Jocelyn.  Donovan's interest is definitely engaged when Jocelyn's all business and doesn't seem taken with his looks or wealth.  Yet Jocelyn does notice everything about her newest client, notices how gorgeous and fit he is, and has to struggle to remain business-like. The good doctor's life depends upon her not getting personally involved.  Jocelyn also sees his expensive townhouse and thinks he's a spoiled playboy used to everything and everyone falling into his lap.  Donovan soon realizes that he wants to show her that he's not want she thinks, and he plans on showing her that there is a very desirable woman underneath her tough facade.
