Rachel Gibson has written her most compelling, sexy and witty romance to date in TRUE CONFESSIONS. Set in the Idaho wilderness town of Gospel, where every sin known to man is California's fault, the romance between the local sheriff and the California tabloid reporter sparkles with fresh dialogue and steamy appeal.

Hope Spencer has come to Gospel to get away from a recent scandal, and to find some ideas for her drooping story lines. What she didn't expect to find was inspiration for her heart and senses in the handsome and very sexy Sheriff Dylan Tabor. Hope should have been more cautious when she realized that all the women in the town were in love with him, but soon she began to fall for him. Even as she begins to make friends and understand what she's been missing all her life, the lie to keep her profession a secret soon begins to threaten their burgeoning love.

Dylan Tabor has stayed clear of love and relationships since his marriage, but no one has tempted him like this city girl who showed up in his town wearing turquoise snakeskin boots. From the first moment he laid eyes on Hope, Dylan knew he wanted her, but what could come of a romance between them? His young son liked her, and Adam didn't like any woman besides his mother. That was a secret he wished not to divulge, but sooner or later, the truth always finds a way to be heard. What he didn't expect was it to hurt so much.

What talent there is to be found in any Rachel Gibson book. TRUE
CONFESSIONS is simply divine. The setting of a small country town, with all its quirky residents with their own unique personalities surrounds this romance with verve and vitality. Never boring, Gibson evenly paces the laughs, the sexual tension and the romance in this fun filled plot. Even down to the chapter headings, there is always something that Gibson uses to capture the reader's attention. Not only is this a "not to be missed" book, but it also is one to put on your keeper shelf under "sexy lawman heroes" right next to her previous work, IT MUST BE LOVE.

Dylan is a character you will find appealing to your senses as the no-nonsense sheriff, as well as a passionate man who needs a woman to tame his heart. Gibson delivers the perfect heroine in Hope, as a woman who is beautiful, but not perfect, who falls in love despite herself and suffers heartbreak for her mistakes. If Gibson doesn't have a devoted readership yet, TRUE CONFESSIONS will surely draw them in like bees to honey.
