Regency Romance

Eleanor Glover is a shy young women who would rather be helping sick animals than be seen socializing with London's society. When handsome Geoffrey Westerly, Lord Staines, asks for her hand in marriage, she is shocked because she is not as beautiful and outgoing as her three beautiful sisters. As a Christmas Eve wedding is planned, Lord Staines offers Eleanor his card, for she is to write down what her heart desires. Will he give her the one thing her heart desires most, his love in return? As Christmas nears, Eleanor sets out to make Geoffrey fall in love with her.

Lord Staines is one of London's most handsome men. Now as a promise to his dying father, Geoffrey promises to marry on Christmas Eve. Once he meets his betrothed, he is afraid that his passionate nature will scare her away like it did his first love.

Now in a beautiful countryside setting, two people who agree to marry find themselves under the kissing bough. As sparks fly, they soon find themselves enjoying each other’s kisses. But will that be enough for them to build a lasting marriage?

UNDER THE KISSING BOUGH was a wonderful Christmas story. Eleanor’s sisters and Geoffrey's brother were an added bonus to the story. Also add in the detail of the Christmas traditions and the holiday spirits, and you have an enjoyable Christmas read.
