Being a secretary had its perks, but working as a P.I.
definitely had the excitement for which Ripley Logan was
looking. If someone had asked Ripley if she would ever be caught
naked in a strange man’s bed, her reply would have been
"not on my life." Well, that was exactly why she ended
up in Joe Pruitt’s bed.
But Joe was a willing partner; he thought Ripley was a hooker
hired by one of his friends to provide him with a good night. He
was about to find out he was wrong on both counts. Ripley was a
P.I. investigating a missing person case.
Who knew missing person cases could get so dangerous. That
was what Joe and Ripley were about to find out. I felt like I
was on the roller coaster ride with the hero and heroine. One
minute I was laughing, the next I couldn’t put the book down
because the suspense (sexual) was killing me. Ripley was
charming, funny, and out of control, and while Chase was a
cautious, strong, silent hero. I wasn’t disappointed in
reading "PRIVATE INVESTIGATION". Make sure when you
read this one, that you put all calls on forward, get a nice cup
of tea, and snuggle in bed. This a DNDM (Do not Disturb Moment).
