Inspirational Fiction

Christine spent her life with two loving parents until her freshman year in high school when her mother died. Now five years later her father tells her a secret, which he and her mother have held from her since she was born. A secret that Christine never dreamed possible, she was adopted at birth. As her father explains everything to her and tells her that her birth mother died a month after she was born, Christine decides she wants to find other members of her birth family.

Christine sets out to find her family only to be mistaken for the new housekeeper for Mrs. Daniels. Mrs. Daniels is not the type of woman to let anyone get a word in, so Christine decides that she will take the job without explaining her real reason for being there, this way, she can learn more about the woman she suspects is her grandmother. Although she feels it is not right to accept the job without telling the truth, she feels God will understand under the circumstances.

THE GIFT OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT is a wonderful heartwarming, inspirational story of a young woman who just wants to find the family that she never knew she had. As I read this book I was drawn into the life of the characters and deeply enjoyed reading about each one. Nothing is greater than having a superbly written story to read, and that is exactly what Ms. Carlson has given us with THE GIFT OF CHRISTMAS PRESENT. This is one book that you will want to keep to read over and over.
