I greatly enjoyed the fact that Chase and Amelia are an older couple with a history as well as having independent lives of their own. Amelia's reluctance to open her heart to Chase even as she struggles to forgive him lends a great deal of poignancy to the story. The narrative moves at a steady pace punctuated with moments of drama and tragedy set against a realistic backdrop of a flood ravaged community. Messages of faith are effortlessly intertwined with events that serve to bring the reader closer to the hearts of the characters. Readers of inspirational romance should not miss their chance to pick up SECOND CHANCE AT LOVE. I can't wait to read more from this author!
