| After losing her boyfriend to
his ex-wife, Risa Vitalis has had it with men.
Especially Pastor Mike Gerardi who always seems to catch
her at her worst. When
her cousin announces her engagement, Risa is happy for the
couple, but also shaken as Risa always thought she would be the
first to settle down. Needing
to get away, Risa and her friend, Kari, decide to go on a
whirlwind vacation through Italy.
Things go tragically wrong when they are robbed, and Kari
dies from her injuries. Kari
left behind a two-year-old daughter who needs Risa more than
ever. Risa suddenly
finds herself facing impossible new challenges, as she becomes a
“mom”. Risa
also finds herself questioning exactly what God has in store for
her.
Mike Gerardi has been attracted to Risa for
some time, but she is unwilling to give him the time of day.
His job sends him to Italy with a youth group, and he is
surprised to bump into Risa.
When she needs him the most, he makes sure he is around
to provide a sturdy shoulder.
Mike hopes this time spent may open Risa’s eyes to the
man rather than his job. Can
Risa find her faith and realize that the only qualification to
becoming a preacher’s wife is that she loves him?
RISA’S RAINBOW is an emotional rich tale
of love and loss. I
was hooked from the first page and never put it down.
Risa must cope with a lot of change in a short period of
time; she does so with incredible strength.
If you are looking for a tender romance with a few
twists, RISA’S RAINBOW is the perfect fit!
