Eight years after class differences,
misunderstandings, and interfering relatives broke them apart,
Justin Pierce and Andi Sherman have the chance to reunite over a
joint business venture. She
is opening a gospel themed amusement park, and his animated
creations are exactly what she needs as a tie in theme.
Unfortunately, neither wants to work with the other; both
are choleric, controlling, type A individuals, unwilling to cede
an inch of power to another.
However, they are able to work out a tentative deal; and
when dangerous saboteurs endanger not only the park's future, but
also their lives, they rediscover romance.
Amid tragedy and danger, will these two strong individuals
find their way back to each other and find the success they seek?
Tense
in places, this novel shows the power of love to give a second
chance, even in the most impossible of people. Forgiveness is a
strong theme here, even forgiveness for one's personality. I do
find it hard to believe that two such similarly forceful people
could find happiness together, but nothing is impossible with God.
