“The Lord our God is merciful and
forgiving, even though we have rebelled against him”
(Daniel 9.9).
What do you do
when your past and present collide? That’s the case with Jake
and Sara. They were
each other’s first love, but when lies tear them apart, they
fall into the arms of other partners.
Jake Breland,
widowed after his wife dies in childbirth, decides to go back to
his hometown to have his family help with raising his baby
daughter, Maggie. Meanwhile,
the death of her husband and unborn child in an automobile
accident leaves Sara Tanner a widow.
Now while
Sara’s mother-in-law tries to keep them apart, Jake’s
grandmother wants them to be finally together, but first they must
relive old memories and lies to finally lay the past to rest. Both
sets of grandparents, with the Lord’s help, try to find a way to
weave two broken hearts.
Family
Circle is a wonderful story; I could not put it down once I
started reading. Jake and Sara are two people who will touch your
heart with the tragedy they overcome, and Maggie is a delightful
child.
