Inspirational Fiction

Alexander Wainwright returns to the land of his birth, Romania, many years after he was sold to a wealthy American in an illegal adoption. He barely remembers his fraternal twin brother, so he never suspects that his driver is that brother, Yuri.

Yuri is an officer in the Romanian army sent to spy on the new ambassador, Alexander, and to bring shame to him. Also, he works with the Christian underground. His brother in law has been captured by the government who persecutes Christians, and only with his newly found twin's help can Yuri rescue him. Amidst a violent world that is both anti American and anti Christian, the two brothers work together to arrange for freedom for the prisoner, and for others.

Often graphic in describing the brutality of the trials of Christians, this novel shows how fortunate those of us who worship in freedom. Gentle readers might do well to avoid it with its disturbing scenes and depiction of vile torture and abasement endured by believers.
