Lori Foster - The Christmas Present

Levi has been waiting for Beth to realize what a mistake she is making with his best friend for quite some time. When she comes to him after catching Brandon with someone else, Levi sees his chance with her. Her desire to act on revenge quickly turns into desire for a man she has called her friend. In denial up to her eyeballs, Beth tries to run from all that is happening. There is no way that Levi is letting that happen and he is going to give her the best Christmas present ever - his love.

I am a HUGE fan of Ms. Foster's work. This story is typical of her fantastic way with words. She tells a story and it feels as if you are there, experiencing it along with the characters. This is fine reading entertainment and sexy, sexy, sexy!  I love it!

Karen Kelley - It's a Wonderful Life

Jeremy is a shallow actor who cares nothing about what people think of his playboy ways. When the role of a lifetime comes along, he is determined to show the powers that be that he can hunker down and get serious. Trying to shed his nasty image, he gets into the part by motorcycling across the country portraying a traveling preacher. He is humming right along until he meets Bailey. She is temptation on two legs and he is going to find it harder than ever to play the role with her. Will his gig be up or will he find himself in the eyes of a woman who shows him what love and life are really about?

Ms. Kelley is definitely a fun and witty writer! She is very good at getting her characters in over their heads and finding a wonderful way of getting them out! This short story is not lacking in any way. I always look forward to her work!

Dianne Castell - Home for Christmas

Lulu is tired of no good men, which does not in the least explain how she happens to be cavorting with one in the gazebo. It seems they have something in common - they both have been jilted by their lovers. In a whirlwind, Lulu finds herself standing in as Sebastian's bride. She is not willing to fall for his plans to have her, but he is more determined than ever to make her his!

Ms. Castell is a good story teller. I have read her other tales of O'Fallon's Landing and found them to be wacky and enjoyable. For some reason, even though I enjoyed Lulu and Sebastian, this one was a little too cutesy for me to fully enjoy. Still, fans will enjoy adding this to their list!
