How far would you go to get back your money, break up a relationship, and cause a man to make choices that will cause him to lose everything? Well welcome Nate Kenny into your world and he will show you how far you can go. After a bitter divorce that caused him to pay his ex-wife fifteen million dollars, he's willing to risk it all to get what he feels is rightfully his. Nate plots to get everyone that played a part in him losing his wife and his money, and he pulls out all the stops to do it. Despite warnings from his brother he plans revenge on his ex-mistress, and on his ex-wife and her lover that causes a chain of events that he can't control.

Monica Kenny has money, runs her own business, and has the companionship she has desired. While her world isn't perfect she has learned to appreciate it as much as she can. Her lover Lewis Waters gives her what she needs to feel like a woman despite the fact that he is a loser as a provider. But she doesn't need a man to support her; she just wants a man to love her. In addition, since she can't have children Lewis has a lovely little girl that she gets to dote on as her own. They could have been a happy family, but when Nate starts sniffing around she becomes confused about what she wants. Is having a man in her bed the only thing she can get from a man, or can she have his love, security, and money to complete the picture? When Nate offers her all of that she has big decisions to make. Which way will she go?

Lewis Waters has never had much, but one thing for sure is that he loves his daughter and he can always count on his best friend, Freddy. He has it made, a woman putting him through school, access to her money, a brand new truck, a roof over his head, and loving anytime he wants. So why is he so insecure? Maybe it's the way he acquired all of these things that stirs his soul. One thing for sure is that he knows when someone is scoping his woman and he's not about to lose her to a man that he knows didn't want her until he arrived on the scene. In plotting his own scheme to keep what's his, he puts everything on the line. He finds himself in a situation where the winner takes all.

In this sequel to "The Million Dollar Divorce, the betrayal and hurt continue. Mr. Johnson takes you into a world where the characters are real and the stakes are high. Nothing can be taken for granted with these characters as they each fight to gain something in the process all in the name of love. Or is it greed? Even if you haven't read his first book you can pick this book up and expect to keep the pages turning to the end. You can take nothing for granted as the suspense builds from page to page. I can't wait until the next book because I know it's got to be the bomb!
