This is a lovely novel.  Olivia is fabulous.  The Earl is my favorite character, however, as he clearly changes from a cynical man to one of purpose and thoughtfulness.  The change is both realistic and utterly romantic.  And the reader is left wondering how these two will ever live a life together with all the rules and dictates of society.  A truly enjoyable read.
