Abby Whitman hasn't done any sleep walking since she was a little girl and moved away from the childhood plantation home that she accidentally set fire to, and left her sister badly scarred.  Her great-gran said she was cursed, and Abby wondered if that wasn't the case after all.  Having been free of the disorder for years, she moved back to her old home to take care of her father after her mother's death.  Now, the sleep walking has started up again.  This time, though, instead of almost killing her sister, she may have actually killed someone in her sleep.  All she remembers of that night was leaving a restaurant and waking up with her vehicle in water with a young man lying dead beside a motorcycle. 

Jason Cole, a psychiatrist, separated father, and a friend from her childhood, decides to help her.  The attraction between them is thick and palatable, so he only offers to help her as a friend and not as her doctor.  However, things don't quite add up to Dr. Cole.  Abby is being targeted by someone breaking into her house and leaving her threatening messages, all having to do with that night that the young man was killed.  Will she be able to piece together fragments of her dreams to figure out why someone wants her to keep quiet about something she has no memory of? 

Engaging right from the start, the characters and storyline never became dull or over worked.  Instead, SLEEP NO MORE is a mystery with all the right elements of a page turner that begged not to be put down.  Susan Crandall weaves an extraordinary web of suspense and intrigue, sprinkled with the right amount of romance packed with twists and turns.  With well-drawn characters that are true to life, SLEEP NO MORE will have you missing sleep yourself so you can finish this page-turning tale.
