COLD MOON RISING The Sazi Series-Book 7 C.T. Adams & Cathy Clamp TOR ISBN: 978-0-7653-5964-3 August 2009 Paranormal In book seven of the Sazi series, we are blessed with another story about Tony. Tony Giodone was a hit man for the mafia before he was forcefully turned into a werewolf. He is what they call a three-day wolf, and if not for his background, may have never been considered for employment with Wolven. He has unique skills that also make him more than just another three-day wolf. He has the ability to see into the past through other Sazi memories. As part of Wolven, he uses his special killing and psychic abilities to help police the Sazi race. He also has a mate who just happens to be human, and now she seems to be slowly dying. Tony’s past comes back with a vengeance as associates come looking for him. Although he is believed to be dead, someone knows of his existence and of course wants him dead. Also, his old boss is attacked by some Sazi hit men and calls on Tony to make it right. In other words, kill whoever had the guts to attack a mafia man such as he. This puts Tony in a bad position, as he doesn’t know if his alpha will agree to such a mission when it is at odds with his new life. But fortunately he is able to combine his new mission with his current one as they are connected somehow. Meanwhile he and Ahmad, the leader of the Sazi snakes, start having a psychic connection that surpasses even his own mate. These two who totally dislike each other will have to come to an understanding in order to solve the latest mission. This latest Sazi story is filled with the action and sensuality that the Adams and Clamp duo are known for. There are a lot of twists and turns, and I would recommend catching the first seven Sazi books, or the reader may be lost most of the time. To fans of the genre, this is a must read as are all of their books. Reviewed by Lori Sears Rating: 4
