Daciana "Daci" Lupei has made it her goal to prove her father's claim that shape shifters do exist.  She knows deep down that her father was killed by one and she needs the satisfaction of proving that her father wasn't crazy.  She has gotten close enough to watch the compound from the trees, but her life is about to take a tumble.  While spying on Anton and his pack, they discover her hide out and as she is climbing out of a tree, she has an accident.  The pack discovers something mysterious about their new captive.  Will they show her compassion when they discover who she really is?

 

Meanwhile in Colorado, Ulrich and his mate Millie are finding out how exhausting it is to train the three new guests put in their care; they are young with unlimited energy.  Ulrich has also found the time to encourages Millie to explore her sexual side.  She is not sure where to begin and when the move is made who will benefit?  After his pack makes a successful rescue, the two unwind with some fun of their own.  Ulrich discovers he is not too old but he senses something is off.  Who it is coming from, he doesn't know.  One thing is certain, being an alpha leader is all about strength and guidance.  

 

WOLF TALES VIII, is Incredible!  Kate Douglas has done it again, drawing readers into their world, not only do you read the story, but you feel the characters.  Ms. Douglas shares old friends and gives us new characters to love.  Survival is important but it's the love, friendship, and strength that the characters give to each other that makes this story so successful.  The really explicit hot sex scenes are a bonus.  WOLF TALES are an automatic buy for me.
