Adam’s niece has been kidnapped and he will do whatever it takes to get her back. He is a guy that can hold his own, but he cannot rescue his niece alone. He needs someone that is the meanest of the meanies and Maya is just that. She is a vampire. While he needs her, he doesn’t trust her. Even not trusting her does not keep him from seeking her help and telling her that in exchange for her help, he will give himself to her to use as she needs. He is thinking blood, but things immediately heat up between the two and a whole lot more is at stake that dinner. His niece could be looking at a fate worse than death and he could lose the one woman in his life that he feels so much more for than a mere passing lust. He could lose his heart.

 

One ongoing theme throughout the book is that Adam is something paranormal, Maya just does not know what. It is a mystery that helps to keep the reader guessing and even more addicted to the already incredibly consuming plot! The action is down and dirty in every aspect, and the romance is smoking hot! Just the way I like them! Cynthia Eden has fast become one of my MUST HAVE authors! Thanks to her mighty fine heroes and her tough chick heroines, I can always get lost in her world!
