Woah, sizzle, sizzle sizzle….watch out for PERFECT FORMATION – keep a tall glass of ice water handy or you might spontaneously combust.  If you aren’t ready for a hot, steamy ménage story, that goes deeper than sex to the building of relationships, then stay away.  Otherwise, run as fast as you can to pick up K B Alan’s March release because it is steeped in emotion, story and character building and, oh yeah, great sex scenes.

Taryn and Richard are good friends and have been for a long time.  They met while Richard was in college and moved back to his home town where Taryn opened a coffee shop.  Richard is a doctor and while he tends to gravitate towards other men, has had a sexual relationship with Taryn for years.  These two are friends with benefits and have never really been able to find that someone special to change that relationship.  After a particularly grueling day where Richard loses one of his young patients – a young boy hit by a drunk driver – they go out and get drunk.

Caleb is just leaving his brother’s bar, when he notices a very drunk couple.  Or he assumes they are a couple until they both start looking him over.  (Aside: There is a very cute scene where these three meet for the first time…almost worth buying the book for that alone.)  Caleb has his own protection agency, and has been acclimating himself to civilian life after serving in the army.  As the story progresses it is amazing that these three have never crossed paths before, but when they finally do, watch out!

None of this group was looking for a long term relationship, but everything seems to fall into place quickly and feels right.  Now all everyone needs to do is lose their emotional baggage and they might just make it.  As I stated above, this book delves into the main character’s lives and emotions and really struck a chord at making a seemingly impossible relationship plausible.  Sit back and get ready to enjoy, this is one steamy read!
