Seven short stories by seven different women, all contained in one novel. In my opinion, three to four chapters does not a story make. Except for Myla Jackson's Billboard Babe, I didn't find any story to have enough initial substance for my enjoyment. I thought it was a real shame that some of these stories weren't fleshed out more, and would have enjoyed the novel more if only 3 or 4 authors were featured, and their stories given more room for development.
